Summer holidays are coming to and end, but not before you hold that end of summer back yard party.  Bring a new twist to Lemonade with these spins on the traditional lemonade. Start with either a store bought lemonade or make your own.

Basic Lemonade Recipe:

1 Cup of Boiled Water
Sugar to Taste
Pour the water and sugar into a big pitcher and add in 2 cups of fresh squeezed or bought lemon juice and mix it with up to 4 litre’s of cold water. Add the water slowly and taste it now and again to get the right sweetness you desire.

New Twists to Lemonade:

After you’ve poured a glass of lemonade add a shot of dark rum to the top.

Keep a jar of Mango puree beside the glasses and pitcher so guests can add a teaspoon to their drink.

Fireball Lemonade: Soak a bowl of maraschino cherries in Fireball for about 20 min and add to the glass before you pour in the lemonade.

Add strawberries that have been marinated in Smirnoff Strawberry Vodka to your Pink Lemonade. Your besties will love this one.

Frozen watermelon balls. Make watermelon balls, freeze as is or add your own flavoured liquor to them before you freeze.
